Arizona Serve Welcomes Millie Diener to the Team
Written by Millie DienerHello everyone!
My name is Millie Diener and I have recently stepped into the role of AmeriCorps State Team Leader here at Arizona Serve! I am an AmeriCorps Alum, serving the Prescott Unified School District as a Student Ambassador during my senior year of high school. My experience as a Student Ambassador introduced me to the work of AmeriCorps and the passion behind their service.
After graduating from Prescott High School in 2022, I went on to attend college at Auburn University, where I have recently graduated. At Auburn, I majored in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences with a minor in Human Development and Family Science. I was led towards these fields because of my experiences in human interaction and community service during my time with AmeriCorps. I am excited to continue my education, and pursue my Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, at Northeastern University this fall.
I knew I wanted to use my summer break to make an impact, and reconnecting with the team here at Arizona Serve was the best decision I could have made! I am overjoyed to be serving the Prescott community this summer, and I cannot wait to form genuine and intentional relationships that will continue to fuel my passion for service.
